Day two of our trip in New York had arrived! We decided to start our day by walking to Times Square which was only a couple of blocks away (sounds American enough? :)) from our hotel. The previous day our guide told us we should visit it once during the day and once at night (like any other self respecting tourist would do). Times Square is packed with people and there are brightly illuminated signs everywhere.

New York City, Day One
We made it. And we made it back! New York was amazing.
One week of NYC delivers a ton of photos. Instead of boring you to death with a whole bunch of pictures in one post I will divide them into separate posts (which gives me time to edit the rest of the photos as well). 🙂
Up and down the hill
Whenever we go to Hungary we stop at Budapest (and I don’t mean just the airport :)). Apart from visiting Adri’s family, we always like to go out and enjoy the city.
Let’s Get Spanish
Barcelona. One of my favorite cities. I’ve been there a few times already but it never gets boring to go back and spend a couple of days there.
Me and Adri knew we would be heading down there sooner or later since my cousin ‘happens’ to live near Barcelona. Luckily for us it turned out to be sooner than later when we got the invitation to his wedding. Plans were made and tickets booked! 🙂
Some Sunday Snapshots
Yesterday the weather was pretty nice so me and Adri went for a walk in Delft. Not really much else to say, so here it goes! 🙂
En dan denk ik aan Brabant…
For our Easter break me and Adri thought it would be nice to visit the city of Nijmegen (in the province of Gelderland). It’s the oldest city in The Netherlands and has been part of Operation Market Garden during the Second World War. These two ingredients would make something of a nice weekend we figured. We got even more inspired after watching the TV Series ‘Band of Brothers’.
Go Figure
While working on another post from our visit to Nijmegen and Den Bosch last weekend (which will take me a bit longer to finish), I am posting a short one from Easter Monday.
With no Easter Bunny around we decided to get some fresh air by having a walk at the beach of Scheveningen. For the past 3,5 years the boulevard has been under construction. Luckily this is not the case anymore (the official opening will be this weekend, April 6th).
