Adri’s brother works in the army. During our holiday in Hungary there happened to be an open day at the base he works. So when we were asked to have a look there we couldn’t refuse. There were a lot of kids activities organized as well. So this would be a nice day to go out and bring Iván with us.
Holiday finally arrived! Unfortunately when writing this blog post it already ended again and we’re back to business as usual. Hungary was great and we fully enjoyed our time as a family there. We went by car and arranged a sleepover with friends in Vienna. It had been 6 years since our last visit to Vienna. So we were excited to visit the city again and more importantly catch up with our friends which we also hadn’t seen for a while.
It’s never a bad thing to spend your Sunday in the Efteling. Especially if it turns out the park isn’t that busy after all. Walking through the fairy tale forest and catching some sunshine (finally). It’s good to get out of the house sometimes. 🙂
The last weeks have been exciting! It’s been three weeks already since Simon was born. He kept us waiting a little longer before finally deciding to show up, but it was well worth the wait! 🙂 We’re really happy that we can finally hold him in our arms and that he is part of our family now.
Iván has been an amazing brother so far and we’re really proud of him how he’s taking care of Simon already.
February has almost come to an end and quite a lot has happened again. We celebrated Iván’s 3rd birthday. We had Katja and Maya from Germany visiting us for a couple of days. We had another trip to the Efteling finally. The weather brought us snow but also sunshine. And we even managed to squeeze in a little bit of carnaval festivities.
Starting of the new year with some photos of last year! On Boxing day we all decided to go out and get some fresh air. A nice walk along the beach while taking some photos and trying to survive that ice cold wind!
