During our last trip to the UK, we also had a quick visit to Portsmouth. A fourthy five minutes drive from Godalming where we staying. February meant it was still calm. We were lucky enough to spend some time with friends in the UK again. Just like last time we took the Eurotunnel to cross the channel. It was quite a short trip actually. About 5 and half hours, door to door. During our stay we planned a day to do some sightseeing in London. Blue skies and red busses everywhere. A perfect day to be a tourist.Continue reading
It’s April and I am writing a post about Christmas! Christmas is long gone. Temperatures went up, the Coronavirus keeps us busy and spring finally arrived. So on that note I’ll keep it short with just a couple of photos from our Christmas trip to the UK last year. We had an amazing time with Jim and Barbara (plus Zizi). Enjoyed the outdoors. Flying Friday early morning (July 15th) and returning Sunday night. What a great trip it was! A long weekend with friends and discovering new places. Jim and Barbara welcomed us in their home and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay.
