Budapest – Two

A full day in Budapest. The sun was out and it was going to be a nice day! Budapest is amazing. We decided to walk towards Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere) and start from there. I love to roam the streets of Budapest. The buildings and streets are amazing. There’s always something happening. The summers are nice and hot. Just a great place to be. Shooting with my new favorite setup. The X-E4 with the 16mm attached.

Indian Summer

Summer break arrived. Halfway September we could finally enjoy our short summer holiday. Spending a week in Hungary to catch up with friends and family and share the news about the pregnancy. This time we flew from Rotterdam Airport to Budapest where Gabi was waiting for us. We got into the plane, made ourselves comfortable and enjoyed the fact we were on the road again!

Deeper underground

No matter how many times you visit Budapest, it never gets boring. 🙂 There’s always something (new) to be seen, a place to go or simply enjoy the city as it is.

There are the obvious sites you have to visit as a tourist. And they’re not all above ground. The Budapest Metro system is one of those nice surprises the city holds. Line 1 (M1) and 4 (M4) especially. My idea was to ride the Metro and take some photos while doing so.
